WRITING
Maeve’s (public) writing began in the long lockdowns of Melbourne, with series of fictional love letters. In 2020, Maeve wrote, produced, directed and appeared in Ladies Write Letters of Lemony Love - a queer love story told entirely through letters in 1901 Victoria. The show debuted at Digital Melbourne Fringe and was one of Broadsheet’s top five picks for the Fringe. She was selected as one of 20 emerging playwrights for ATYP’s National Studio (2021) and for She Writes at Theatre Works (2022-23).
Maeve also co-created and facilitated a series of New Writing events TARTS CAN TYPE… with TART Theatre Collective.
She was recently announced as a finalist for The Cooper Prize from 16th Street Actors Studio for her play, Simple.
